Primitive cooking pot with a beautifully darkened, matte exterior over warm Cappadocian fire undertones.

First bisque fired in a traditional kiln, later followed by open firing with local hardwoods under high winds. With our two step process we create pieces with a variety of color gradients, patterns and textures.

The second step of open firing hardens the pot further and produces a uniform, resilient surface.

Each piece is one of a kind, aesthetic variations are to be expected. Each piece is made with primitive methods from scratch, and will not be as uniform as molded or turned pieces.

Made from heat and fire resistant Cappadocian clay.

Dishwasher safe, but please take care to not use cleaning agents as they might be absorbed into the porous clay structure.
